As we embark on another academic year and welcome back to campus our students, faculty and—most importantly—our patients, we do so in a new, state-of-the-art facility.
This building, on the northern edge of our campus, stands because of the extraordinary collective effort of our generous donors, faculty and staff as well as architects and construction personnel, to realize the vision that we set forth more than two years ago for a bold, new clinical and educational facility.
The new space represents a significant expansion in our ability to serve patients—a direct response to the needs of our community. Our current annual patient population of 12,000 is forecasted to expand to 15,000 over the next three years, along with 60,000 patient visits.
The building you are about to explore in the pages that follow will enable the Creighton University School of Dentistry to better serve a growing community, as well as provide the most advanced technology available for teaching and learning the profession of dentistry. We look forward to doing so in this home—and in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition—for the decades to come.
