The Creighton University Professional Prosthodontics Laboratory consists of an in-house team of four technologists and a lab coordinator. The team is responsible for the fabrication of removable (complete dentures and partials), fixed (crowns, bridges, and veneers) and implant prosthetics (implant crowns, bridges and implant overdentures) at the School of Dentistry. In the new dental school building, state-of-the-art digital technology has been implemented in the process for fabrication of prosthetics. These new technologies will aid significantly as the school transitions into an increased enrollment of 230 clinical-ready dental students caring and serving our patients. The professional laboratory team is collaborative, serving together with clinical students, pre-clinical students, faculty and staff to provide the best outcomes possible for patients and enhanced educational experiences for students. Collectively, the team has over 140 years of dental laboratory experience and is dedicated to assisting the comprehensive knowledge of our students in becoming successful professionals.
